IAF Collaboration with ISRO. Landing capability of RLV-LEX 3 'PUSHPAK'
IAF congratulates ISRO on successful demonstration of the autonomous landing capability of the Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) 'PUSHPAK' as part of its RLV-LEX 3 mission.
Indian Air Force will continue its firm collaboration with ISRO in marking many such successful milestones in future.
IAF Chinook helicopter met the stringent flight parameters of the mission and dropped the underslung RLV from 4.5 km amsl, with pinpoint accuracy. This special assignment saw the first ever use of a Long- Sling Underslung ops by the Chinook.
